Starting a new project can be aggravating sometimes, especially when you have to sit down and decide whether or not it will be plausible for the market…but I recently discovered something – if you have fun doing something, don’t let people get in the way.
I was getting plenty of mixed ideas and arguing with people over options and plausibility and whether or not it was a good idea. Frustration was mounting, self-doubt was creeping in, and I was beginning to feel stupid…
And then I built the damn thing and remembered that coding and design work is fun.
So screw you people. I’m having fun.
Every project needs a personal investment, and you can’t have other people tell you how to execute it when the concept isn’t even realized yet. Enthusiasm is important, and if it makes you happy, what the hell?
Also my business cards arrived and they looked so amazing that I wanted to live up to them.
And now I’m going to bed late again. I suck at this time management thing…
